Welcome to the Mad County Build. We purchased 30 acres near the iconic Bridges of Madison County in Fall 2018, and began clearing the land on May 13, 2019. Paul cleared about 4 acres of space on the property to make room for the driveway and build.
It’s been a dream of ours to own land and raise our children in the country. Paul grew up on a farm in northern Illinois where he learned hard work, determination, and the dedication you can only find in a farmer.
We moved to Iowa to start fresh. After a long career in law enforcement it was time to put our family first. We started over. New career, new location, and we’ve never looked back.
