The owner's suite at the Mad County Build is made up of multiple rooms including an office, bedroom, bathroom, and closet complete with a laundry area.
For the bedroom portion we wanted to make a statement with the headboard while remembering the past. We chose barn wood reclaimed from the original Marshall Family Farm in Illinois. This is the third home that we've used this style headboard, and our favorite application.
The black trim on the sides is basic metal angle you can find at the hardware store. We cut it to size and used Rustoleum Matte Black spray paint to give it a finished look.
